Zoë serves as the Global Projects and Communications Coordinator for the Local2030 Islands Network, where she is dedicated to fostering collaboration across island communities to drive resilient, community-centered advancement. With a background in social and behavioral sciences, she specializes in mass communication and social movements. Zoë played a pivotal role in Hawai‘i Island’s recovery following the 2018 Kīlauea Eruption, leading long-term recovery efforts and community engagement through initiatives like Revitalize Puna. Her leadership helped restore community connections, integrate local and governmental resources, and support enduring resilience. Zoë’s approach emphasizes collaboration, active engagement, and cultural appreciation, fueling her passion for uniting diverse partners to achieve sustainable impact.

Community development specialist with a demonstrated history of working in disaster recovery. Skilled in building community capacity, pre-disaster recovery and planning, sales, social media, and research. Strong research professional with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from University of California, Los Angeles.

I passionately engage in sustainable practices and advocation for environmental protection policies. I love to hike, surf, swim, travel and practice yoga. In 2019 I lived in Paris studying media, politics, social patterns, the global food system, and environmental policy in the European Union. My current adventure is serving the County of Hawai'i Disaster Recovery Division as Disaster Recovery Division as the Community Engagement and Placemaking Coordinator.
