This community-building project is geared towards improving and enhancing the visual aesthetic of historic Downtown Pāhoa. Through a paint refresh of buildings and strategic integration of murals and other artwork, we strive to elevate stories of place, revitalize businesses, rejuvenate community spirit, and create an even more vibrant Pāhoa. So far 5 buildings have been given a free paint refresh and 3 murals have been completed.

Paint Pāhoa Town is led by the Economic and Built Environment Resilience Action Teams as apart of the Revitalize Puna Initiative. All residents are invited to be part of this improvement movement!
